Rev. William Kretzer, Worship & Education Minister

William was born in Alton, IL but at the age of 5 he moved with his parents and one sister to Bartlesville, OK. It was there that William came to realize his need for Christ at the age of ten after spending most of the summer visiting various Vacation Bible School programs, and was baptized that spring by submersion as his personal testimony as a believer in Jesus. The Student Ministry of Eastern Heights Baptist Church in Bartlesville, OK, gave him an opportunity to travel to Montana for a mission trip in which he then realized a call in his life to serve the Lord in full-time ministry. The Lord has equipped William with a strong background in biblical and Christian educational studies and in musical hymnody and musical education of the church.

William has a Bachelor of Music degree in Church Music from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, MO. When he was eighteen he had his first opportunity to serve as music minister and continues serving in that role today. William is currently attending Denver Seminary and pursuing a Master of Divinity in Church Leadership with a concentration in worship.

William and his wife Kate have been married since August 8, 1998. William and Kate have three children: Olivia Rae, Megan Elizabeth and Aiden Thomas.
