THE TRUTH PROJECT 

A recent study by the Barna Research Group revealed that only 9% of professing Christians have a biblical worldview. To counter this slide within the body of Christ, Focus on the Family has launch The Truth Project, a DVD-based small group curriculum comprised of 12 one-hour lessons taught by Dr. Del Tackett, discussing the relevance and importance of living the Christian worldview in daily life. Lessons include Veritology: What is Truth?, Philosophy & Ethics: Says Who?, Theology: Who is God?, Science: What is True?, History: Whose Story?, and much, much more. The class will meet in Room 300 and will be led by Jim & Eulalie Hartman.

 


THE LOVE DARE     

                                                                                            

The Love Dare, as featured in the movie Fireproof, is a challenge for husbands and wives to         understand and practice unconditional love. Whether your marriage is hanging by a thread or healthy and strong, The Love Dare is a journey you need to take.  This six session study is a great way for you and your spouse to build and strengthen your marriage. The Fireproof Your Marriage study integrates movie clips from FIREPROOF, along with key Scriptures, thought-provoking     questions and devotionals, including concepts from The Love Dare book.  The class will meet in Room 105 and will be led by William Kretzer.  The cost is $6.00 and will cover the cost of the book, which you will receive on the first night.

 

 


HOW TO READ THE BIBLE FOR ALL ITS WORTH

 

Understanding the Bible isn’t for the few the gifted, the scholarly.  The Bible is accessible.  It’s meant to be read and comprehended by everyone .  A few essential insights into the Bible can clear up a lot of misconceptions and help you grasp the meaning of Scripture and its application to your 21st century life.  In clear, simple language, it helps you accurately understand the different parts of the      Bible.  The class will meet in Room 107 and will be led by Mike Atherton.  The cost is $15 and will cover the cost of the book, which you will receive on the first night.

 

 

 

 

Find help and healing for the hurt of separation and divorce

DivorceCare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone.

DivorceCare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable DivorceCare resources to help you deal with the pain of the past and look forward to rebuilding your life.  Also starting Tuesdays at 6:30pm January 12th.  Please call the office to reserve your spot.

 

 



FACING THE MOURNING

This interactive support group is designed for all ages, types of deaths, and length of grieving. This four-week group offers unique projects, such as sharing, creating memories and setting goals for the future, to help grieving people cope with the loss of a loved one.  The class will meet in the Conference Room and will be led by Ken Atherton.
