What We Believe

Cornerstone is a church that lives to worship God. The mission of this Church is to connect people with Christ and His Church. We will accomplish this by leading people to Jesus and membership in His Church, training them to be more like Christ, equipping them to fulfill their ministry both in the Church and in the world, all for the purpose of glorifying God. We are a Southern Baptist Convention church. As our Statement of Faith says,

The Holy Bible is the inspired Word of God and is the basis for any Statement of Faith and is the basis of our doctrine and practice. We further subscribe to the Doctrinal Statement of the Baptist Faith and Message as adopted by the Southern Baptist Convention in 2000. We band ourselves together as a body of Baptized Believers in Jesus Christ personally committed to sharing the Good News of salvation to lost mankind.

How We Reach Out

Cornerstone offers a multitude of opportunities for spiritual growth, service and outreach, and fellowship and fun.

Spiritual Growth

No matter what age group you are, Cornerstone has something for you!

Preschool Ministries, for children from birth to Kindergarten, offer programs providing a safe, supportive atmosphere for your little ones to learn and grow in God's love. Our competent, caring workers will watch your children during Sunday School at 9am, and Extended Session Care during the worship service. Children as young as 2 are welcome in our Awana program on Sunday nights.

Children's Ministries teaches kids in grades 1-5 foundational Bible truths. G-Force/Worship KidsStyle, an exciting, energetic worship experience held Sunday mornings from 9-11:30am, offers children a chance to build relationships with strong Christian adults who can help them understand the salvation of Jesus Christ. Awana focuses on teaching scripture memorization in new, fun ways for children as young as 2 through 6th grade on Sunday nights from 5:00-7:15pm.

Awaken Student Ministries are open to all students in grades 6-12. Students plunge into God's Word together during Bible Study/Core Groups  Sundays at 9am, breaking up into Junior and Senior High discussion groups to glean lessons to apply to life. 6:30pm Wednesdays--Deeper lets students spend time finding Biblical answers to specific questions they may face in the world.  Each season of the year has a retreat, letting students focus on spiritual growth away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Cornerstone's Adult Ministries offers more than just Sunday Worship. Sunday morning Bible Study at 9am has classes for College & Career Adults, 20's & 30's, 40's, 50's, Senior Adults. Come Wednesdays at 6:30pm for Adult Prayer meeting . Women of Virtue Women's Ministries provides weekly Bible studies periodically throughout the year, while Men of Valor Men's Ministries offers monthly breakfasts for fellowship and spiritual growth.

Worship Ministries are a wonderful and exciting part of the life here at Cornerstone.  Using both voices and instruments to lift up the name of the Lord, preparing us weekly to receive the God's love.   Come join us a we rehearse on Wednesdays from 6:3opm-7:30pm as the worship choir and 7:30-8:30pm as the worship band.

When & Where We Meet

Cornerstone meets regularly Sunday mornings for coffee at 8:30am, Bible Study for Adults, Students and all Children at 9:00am and a Family Worship service at 10:15am.

Outside Functions

Cornerstone Church is host home to several organizations. Two different churches worship within our walls, and many family- and community-friendly groups use our facility.
